All That Glitters: Bennington Museum exhibit

It’s nearly winter and that means… another great show at the Bennington Museum!! This year the title of the exhibit is ‘All That Glitters: Vermont’s Mineral Wealth’ — which features several excellent artworks focused on mineral and geological materials, imagery, and art concepts. And that means awesome!

The show runs from from Nov 24 – Dec 31 —

This show is part of a larger annual fundraiser for the museum, and so all of the work is on sale to benefit the museum. If you’d like to attend the opening event, it is Tuesday 6-8pm, Nov 21 (one has to buy tickets if not a member of the museum). There is also a silent auction, which you can see here: https://us.givergy.com/benningtonmuseum2023/?controller=lots&category=ART

The artists include so many luminaries:

Ashley Eliza Williams, Colin Brant, Daniel Richmond, David Epstein, Jackie Sage Longe-Global Pathways Jewelry, Gregory Scheckler, Heather Milne Ritchie, Ilana Halperin, Karin Stack, Katie Cleaver, Ken Rush, Kerry O. Furlani, Kirsten Hoving, Lauren Levato Coyne, Nicholas Schneider, Paul Katz, Peter Hoffmeister, Rhonda Ratray, Ross Sheehan, Stanton Sears, Stephan Fowlkes, Tom Leytham, Virginia Bryant, Weston Lambert

This exhibit is also a rare chance to acquire many outstanding pieces from the artists, including some of my smaller works — several on auction are 5″ x 5″ panel pieces, from the Trajectories series, and two are larger 12″ x 12″ panel pieces. One is from the Timepieces series, at a large 30″ x 40″ size. Here’s a couple of screenshots from the auction website:
