Timepieces: 12″x12″ silverpoint, titanium dioxide and iron oxide paints on cotton paper. Created by improvisation and gesture drawing from natural patterns, each image’s creation lasted about one week’s time. Presented open to the air, viewer’s breathing gradually helps cause the silverpoint to tarnish, becoming a darker and warmer brown.
